MECC, Maastricht, The Netherlands, 3/4th August 2024: We are in the middle of the summer recess, and the car event season is in full swing. Several petrol heads reroute themselves to MECC Maastricht for the first edition of the All Stars car show by Rise Nation. A car show for Europe’s most exclusive tuned/bashed cars, excellent tuning music, the opportunity to get some tattoos and buy some car merchandise, or get familiar with clothing brands from the car community like RiseNation and GroundNation, to name a few.

Maastrichts Expositie en Congres Centrum (MECC) was turned into a 30.000 square meters of stance car Walhalla. Rise Nation selected around five hundred cars; new cars, young and old timers, and everyone was slammed! And if you love stance cars, Rise Nation is a common name. Rise Nation is a Belgian event organization that started in 2017. It specializes in promoting modified vehicles and living the stance lifestyle (besides car events, it also encourages its name as a clothing brand). It also wants to bring the car community together at breathtaking locations, like the Château de Laverdines in Baugy. Their events started to get more and more attention over the years, and now they’re expanding their wings into the Dutch territories.

One of the weekend’s eyecatchers was several cars representing the body kit brand Liberty Walk (LBWK). Among them was the Mazda RX-7 ( Liberty Walk Super Silhouette widebody conversion) from James Pearman. It was one of the most incredible projects revealed last year. Another slammed car on the LBWK body kit was a well-known Nissan GT-R R35 LBWK conversion.

Another masterpiece present at Maastricht was the 2007 Subaru Impreza ‘Hawkeye’ from Bjorn. He is the third owner and has had it for eight years already. For him, this model is the most beautiful body ever built for a Subaru. Initially, he bought it to keep it original. When he sold his previously tuned cars, he missed the tuning world so much that he slowly started customizing the Impreza. It has a Seibon carbon hood and an airlift performance P3 suspension to slam that baby to the floor! The body has a strafe design, side skirts, a rear diffuser, custom-made taillights, and an entire carbon fiber front. Also, the interior got upgraded with some Kirkey racing seats, Takata safety belts, and a carbon steering wheel. The Subaru also got a roll bar to increase safety. It’s his dream car, and he is living the stance lifestyle. Therefore, he also won the RiseNation top 20 cars of the event! Bjorn is still in progress and will continue to change and upgrade his Impreza next year.

Next to several icons of the slammed world and stands to buy merchandise, spectators could get a new tattoo or touch up their current one. The team from inkolor_addict got them covered. They created a great scene between the LBWK GT-R and LA Queen’s collection.

Therefore, Allstars had it all: slammed car, stands for car and clothing merchandise, a place to retouch your tattoo, and the feeling of being at your local car meeting with your car family. The first edition of Allstars by Risenation is a fact. Nothing has been announced yet, but hopefully, RiseNations already has plans for 2025 at MECC Maastricht, so stay tuned.
