Brazilian Flash (Tromp Family) is a familiar name in the drag racing community on the island of Aruba. This year, the team celebrated its 35th anniversary. The team is organizing the Carribean Shout-out race event to commemorate this achievement. Caribbean Shoot-out is an international race with participants from Aruba, Curacao, and Puerto Rico in quick 16 bikes, 8.90 bikes, 9.90 bikes, and sportsman bikes in the front-wheel-drive and Import categories. It will be held from October 3rd to Sunday, October 6th, 2024. Not only will it be a grand celebration on the track, but the current Brazilian Flash team members are gathering the old team members who are no longer active in the sport to be present during the coming weekend to celebrate with the people of Aruba.

One of the competitors from Puerto Rico is Carlos Diaz, who drives a Chevrolet Vega called Wapacha. This team is back after several years of absence and is ready for battle.

The cherry on the icing is the funny jet car, which was re-wrapped in the colors of the Brazilian Flash team. The car runs into the six seconds and is ready to thrill Aruba with some good action.

Tension is building as the start date of the Caribbean Shoot Out approaches. You still have time to get your day ticket or weekend ticket. Make sure you don’t miss it!
