Circuit Zolder, Belgium 22nd July 2021: Supercar Madness powered by Hancook at circuit Zolder was host to several Dutch/Belgium series; the Supercar Challenge, the VRM BMW M2 cup,  the Mazda MX-5 Cup, and the Ford Fiesta cup. All series race two races, where the first race was on Saturday 17th July and the second race on Sunday 18th July.

Supercar challenge powered by Hankook is a series held in the Benelux with a broad range of car brands and models. This class is split into seven divisions, based on the ratio between a car’s weight and engine power. In the CN division, it is  Tom Boonen who takes the win on Sunday and maintains his position in the championship. In the GT class, it is Patrick Engelen who takes the win on Sunday with the Radical RXC. Championship leader Bob Herber came in second place, just 0.04 seconds after Engelen. Ruud Olij takes the win in the SS1 division with his BMW E92 M3.

Championship leader Colin Caresani maintains his lead after Supercar madness in VRM BMW M2 cup. The VRM BMW M2 cup is a series that debuted last year. Caresani qualifies in 5th place with a time of 1.39.493 second (Pole position went to duo Henry Zumbring & Lorenzo van Riet with a time of 1.38.752) and ends up in eighth place during the first race on Saturday. Duo Dan Pijl & Thomasz Magdziarz takes the win on Saturday after a correction due to a code red. Colin Caresani did recover from Saturday’s race by setting a stunning win on Sunday and maintain his leading position in the championship with 72 points. Dou Koen Bogaerts and Mark van der Aais are in second place in the championship, with 18 points behind Caresani and Kelvin Snoeks in third place with also 54 points.

Ford Fiesta Cup division 1; Jacco van der Wal wins the first race (3rd round of the championship) in division 1 of the ford fiesta Cup (Saturday). Nikodem Wierzbicki won the second race (4th round) on Sunday. By winning the race on Sunday, Nikodem takes the number one spot in the point-standings and pushes Jacco van der Wal in second place with only 4 points behind.

Ford Fiesta Cup division 2: Double win for Laurens de Wit in the second division of the ford fiesta cup. Laurens qualified with a time of 1.56.011, which was good for second place behind Thomas de Backer (1.55.892 seconds). He manages to take the lead and win both rounds. Laurens has so far won every race in this championship and is leading by 24 points.

Another class competing during the Supercar Madness weekend is the Mazda MX-5 cup.  Each competitor in this series drives the newest Mazda MX-5 (ND Type). This Modified Cabrio is power by the standard 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G engine, which produces around 184 horsepower. The car itself weighs 950 kg. Pim van Vliet won both races (race 7th on Saturday and race 8th on Sunday) in the G division of the Mazda cup and is leading the championship since and is now 32 points ahead of John Hoogland, who is in second place.
