Assen TT coverage by Benjamin Wefer: Another great American Sunday was held on 24th April 2016.
It was a typical Dutch weather; rainy and cold. That didn’t keep the ones who have passion for American muscle car away from the track.

The paddock was filled with all the best of American car history; from a 60’s to a brand new one, from a factory mustang to a customized Roush or Seleen.
Beside the paddock, the public could enjoy some street drag races organized by Quartermile/ESLA. There were some good races between the two mustangs and two dodge chargers. We also saw the Plymouth Cuda from black 8 Racing team makes his appearance at the TT track.
This Cuda, which runs in the super gas class, gave the spectators a taste of what a 950 horsepower car can do on a normal track without traction.

“Burnout madness” a new event that has been added to the show, where participant will have 3 min to burn their tires till all the rubbers are gone was also a great success.
Besides ¼ mile drag event and the new burn out madness section, there was also a show n shine contest organized by Meguiar’s, a car parade around the track, several stands with every thing for your muscle car and some good music on stage.
All in all it was another success for the 402 automotive team with another great event.
