Some car lover will immediately recognize Raamsdonksveer location as the old Louwman (Louwman & Parqui is the Dutch Toyota importer) Museum which has moved to The Hague in 2010. But having quite an empty location and celebrating 50 years Toyota in The Netherlands, they came with the idea to open Louwman’s Toyota World in 2014. A location for holding all kind of events, so what so special about this? The collection of cars here (Toyota & Lexus), which is a small museum on its own. like this 2011 Lexus LFA with serial number 001!

so, it was obvious that it was the right location to hold a Japanese car event; with the focus on the new Toyota GR Supra, which will be in the Dutch showrooms within a couple of weeks’ times. The model presented is the GR Supra Legend Premium in the fabulous Ice Grey Metallic.

The weather turns out to be a perfect sunny Sunday and in September for Dutch terms; is something special. This was noticeable as the turned up was high, the whole area on the main entrance, around the Museum dome and at the back of the parking lot was fulfilled with Japanese cars. From Nissan GTR to the Iconic Toyota Supra (JZA80) or this rare Autozam AZ-1 with gullwing doors, produced in the nineties by Mazda.

The Concours d’Elegance brought the most beautiful cars which were present at the event, to the main stand where the 402 judges inspected the cars by looking at the exterior, paint job, interior, originality and relationship between car & owner.

And what would be a Japanese car without noise and therefore also at GoJapan, 402 automotive held they’re loved by the car community; Rev Battle. A lot of people went to look for some paracetamol afterward!

GoJapan; and event hosted at a special location. And this gave it, its unique identity and the vibe was great and old skool. Nothing fancy, but Gojapan had a lot to offer, but most important; a place where car enthusiastic came together to spend some quality time among the big Tuning family and to enjoy their rides! Its unknown at this moment, but hopefully that there will be a second GoJapan next year.
