MEPPEN, GERMANY – 10th September 2017: The race circuit in Meppen Germany was host to the first HondaFest (HF) track day organized by GT events powered by AKR Performance. GT events which is known for the BimmerFest and HondaFest at the Evenementenhal in Gorinchem The Netherlands. An event like the name already revealed it, dedicated to ‘Honda’owners, lovers or to the ones who just love the world of tuning & Styling!

HondaFest was the place to be last Sunday if you wanted to admire some styled cars, tuned once, import class drag cars and even the circuit time attack ones. From several classic to the latest mondels.

We also spotted several Drag race drivers showing off their cars, like ‘Brown Booster’ by Gino de Jong, ‘Tunertoy’ by Marv Pieters, ‘Sonic’ By Rohit Baldew, ‘Boobs & Boost’ by Lisette ‘Lola’ and several more drivers well known from the quartermile strip at Airport Drachten. A lot of changes has been seen on these cars, which leave us with only one question; What can we expect in 2018 when the drag season starts again?

Besides the show paddock, HF trackday wasn’t complete if the Meppen track wasn’t used. Track was open to all who wanted to get a glimpse of this great track. Also the public got the chance to be part of it as a passenger in several cars going on the track.
