On the first Sunday of March, we return to KT after almost 3 months to see how the Drift scene is doing. We were glad to see the return of Cesar "El Che" Santis to the track in his 1JZ powered S15 Nissan Silvia. He was shaking the car down its first runs and he was very happy with the results.
Also we saw Jayson in his freshly acquired Nissan Skyline R33 "Drift Beast"
which was previously owned by our crazy Arabian friend Bilal. Bilal also
was in the crowd watching his old ride do some passes. JJ is making great
progress in this car, and we hope to see him evolve to be one of the
islands best.
Johnny Bravo de Andrade also showed up with is new ride. Former Nissan
Skyline R33 40 anniversary edition of Jon Jon now is owned by Johnny. He
also laid down serious rubber the whole afternoon.
Also Ali and Roy showed up in their rides to make the afternoon fun. Ali's
Hulk just got a retune at RYSO-TECH and is now again even meaner. Roy is in
the midst of caging his ride for extra safety and after that a full body
rework.
Shout out to David aka Rasta BMW who had a small accident with his ride
when drifting trough turn 2.
We must point out that the track does get alot of dirt on it, and it
becomes a hazard for those who do not adjust quickly to it. We hope to see
David soon back at the track!
