Rondeklip – Curacao – 14th of September 2018
After annoucing yesterday that they will be taking over and organizing the last 2 events of the 2018 drag season, FAC is making short work of everything that needs to be done.

As the administrators / care taker of Curacao International Raceway, it is FAC’s responsibility to take care of the track and have its best intrest at hand. Other foundations can lease the track to organize events on it, but in the end it will be the responsibility of FAC to see that everything goes according to plan.
Having said that, FAC has started a thorough cleaning process of the track.
As you can see, this process is time consuming and demands a lot of man power. But FAC wants to bring back the track to a smooth surface from the start all the way down to the finish line.
Basically this 1st step is meant to remove the top layer of rubber that has been layed on the track, by heating it up and scrubbing it with the required shovel like tools to scrap up the heated rubber layer.
This is by far no easy job, but it has to be done to ensure that the top layer of the track is as smooth as can be.
We salute the team that is doing this job in this hot weather, and wish them all the and much respect.
