Shernon Martis and the Speshi Racing BMW S1000 RR drag bike returned to the action with the start of the 1st Round of the Straightliners Championship 2017 season at Santa Pod Raceway on March 25th and 26th.
The results of off-season adjustments to the bike were immediately evident as Shernon ran a personal best quarter mile ET of 8.9130 seconds during qualifying. Eliminated in the first round in the European 8.50 class, he was pleased with the overall results of the weekend.’
