Budds Creek, November 5th 2017

While Jason Miller and crew are doing there maximum effort to get the track dry, with the jet drier being run constantly since early in the AM, we take a stroll trough the pits.

It was damp and everyone was getting their gear out and getting them ready to run later on.

Like us, many people were strolling the pits to buy merch or interact with the teams as they were unpacking / unloading their equipment for the day.

This gave the crowd the chance to take a closer look at the machines. Some of them even we were surprised by the advancement of the tech. Large turbo’s on tiny engines is was the norm.

But now today, even BIG BLOCK V8 engines get twin turbskies (As Cleetus McFarland of 1320Video would say).

This GTO got our attention since thursday during testing. It looked so clean.
But when we got a look of its engine…we were lost for words.

Last but not least, check out this ride that let us remember local Racer Mayous and his RAMBAM Chevy Monte Carlo.

Unlike Mayous, this Monte Carlo has a supercharger blowing pressurized air into the BIG BLOCK. And it runs the 7 seconds as expected with that added power.
