Budds Creek MIR, November 4th, 2017
The second day of qualifying kicked off with tons of burned rubber and records being broken troughout the day.
El Humilde showed up and blazed the track for a new modified record, running a 5.91 @ 242.23 MPH
It had the crowd on its feet. Only in MIR!
Larry Rammath showed up in the S3000, tuned by Crispeed Kris Johnson to blaze also a personal best of 7.13 @ 196 MPH. They had a small encounter with the wall, but as you can see, that did not stop them!

The people that were able to see the burnout area, could see this gentlemen entretaining everyone around there with his antics when it came to telling the racers to do their burnout
He was having a blast, and we were enjoying him monkeying around the area. When it came time to do actual work, he was always spot on and ready to move.

We went to the end of the track, to shoot some cars rolling with their parachutes.
We got a lot more than that to see.
The all motor guys, did not pull their parashute. Normally you pull when your going more than 150 MPH
Trying to stop without pulling your shute, will lead to burned tires, or a trip into the kitty litter.

Reed Chapman coming down the track in his 93 Toyota Supra. He went on to win True Street later on in the event.
