After the test sessions that happened during the week it was time for qualifying. Before the races would start, the crew dove into the pits to check out everybody getting ready.

She drives one of the fastest All motor FWD civic’s around.
We bumped into Chris Miller and exchanged some needed info for our stay.
We again must thank the MBP / MIR team for their hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay at Maryland International Raceway during the WCF event.
After the last track has been done, the races began. It was immediately noticeable that the traction was ON SPOT.

Check out how 18 years old Miss Haley James, seen below in her Mustang
takes off at the line almost every time. She would eventually make it pretty far in the competition.
A lot of records were blown away during this qualifying. But the one record that everybody was looking for did not happen here at MIR. Mr President ran a really low 6 seconds pass, but everybody was watching to witness history.

Jesus Melendez also came out with S2K to run some of the fastest times the car has made ever. With a 7 second flat best, S2K with its F22 power plant is hauling ass to the finish line
One of the teams that have one of the fastest domestics on Drag Radials is the Carlyle Racing Twin Turbo Corvette. A show on its own as this Twin Turbo Corvette gets it done with over 2500 wheel horsepower to the wheels.
