Over 200 vehicles from Puerto Rico, Curacao and Aruba, made this event the biggest drag event that this track has ever seen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"30 years Drag Racing Aruba event - TCOB event Compilation\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-yIgnKZitx4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The test and tune day and the 1st race day went with many issues.<br \/>\nThe test and tune went without everyone getting a chance to test their machines.<br \/>\nOildowns accidents and a faulty timing system kept the event till the late hours on both nights.<\/p>\n<p>The 1st raceday saw one good thing for our local racers.<br \/>\nVinchi Abath took the Import class by storm and nobody could hold him back.<br \/>\nHis 2JZ powered Toyota Corolla took to the lanes and came out victorious in the import class.<\/p>\n<p>After that an incident happened, that brought 99% of curacao drivers together.<br \/>\nProtesting the faulty timing system, and not being awarded a rerun of 1 race where the error was more clear than daylight, they all packed their cars and left the premises of this event.<\/p>\n<p>We of TCOB really hope that the organizers or any sanctioning body will make the needed changes and make Palo Marga Raceway a much better place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tcobcur.com\/ver4\/1st-race-day-at-the-30-year-event-in-aruba\/img_8469\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1395\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1395\" alt=\"IMG_8469\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/tcobcur.com\/ver4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_8469-300x200.jpg?resize=300%2C200&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For their 30 years of Drag Racing at Palo Marga Raceway, the Boss racing foundation organized this huge event.
