Amsterdam Rai, The Netherlands 28th March 2024: As it is becoming a tradition for all car enthusiasts, the place to be around easter weekend is in Amsterdam for another edition of the International Amsterdam Motor Show (IAMS). 52.900 square meters of pure luxury, performance, and passion for cars! IAMS opened its doors in style with the preview night on Thursday. It is an exclusive moment for VIPs and other enthusiasts to admire the cars and enjoy some good music from several DJs with a glass of champagne.<\/p>\n

The Amsterdam RAI convention center has been home to IAMS since the first edition back in 2018, and this show has grown in popularity in the last few years. With seven halls (with various themes) and over 300 exhibited cars, IAMS pays tribute to the past, cherishes the present, and brings a little bit of the future of mobility under one roof. Not only iconic cars & supercars, but IAMS also paid tribute to the Tuning & Styling community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the eyecatchers during IAMS 2024 is the most talked about car in The Netherlands for the last few weeks. Of course, we are referring to the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack Plus. It is the sixth (number six reference in the rear wing) Jesko ever built and the first Dutch-registered Jesko. Not all the 125 planned Jesko have been delivered yet, making this an ultra-rare car. The Attack Plus delivers 1603 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine. It has green pearl paint with Crystal White Accents. And for the ones wondering where the name came from? The name Jesko is a tribute to the company founder’s father, Jesko von Koenigsegg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another eyecatcher is the Rimac Nevera. The Nevera is also a rare car, with only 150 units planned. The all-electric sports car has four liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, which deliver 1900 horsepower and 2360 N.m of torque. It has a 120Kwh battery with a range of 490 km and a regenerative braking power of up to 300kw, making it the most powerful among the EVs. The Nevera has a top speed above 400 km\/hr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what is a supercar show without the presence of the McLaren Twins? This iconic Mclaren family is a must-see during a car show. Pure passion and are keeping these cars on the road. What began with two McLaren spiders (meaning of the name: McLaren Twins), grew into a five supercar collection. Next to their 2016 McLaren 650S Spider, the 2019 McLaren 600LT Spider, and the 2020 McLaren 600LT Spider, they added a 2019 McLaren Senna and a Ferrari SF90 Spider last year. This year they revealed their new addition during the IAMS preview night: A street-legal McLaren Senna GTR LM!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IAMS opened its doors in style with the preview night on Thursday. A four day event where car enthusiasts can admire some ultra-rare cars, not only supercars & hypercars but also old-timers, classic, and modified cars. A brand and model for all tastes. You still have one and a half days to attend (1st April is the last day of IAMS2024)<\/p>\n
