The 3rd day of the NitrOlympX drag races looked promising as the sun was shining early in the morning. Anita Mäkelä resulted to be the absolute winner of the NitrOlympX weekend (4rd round of the FIA European drag racing). Anita made two amazing passes setting a new record of 3.93sec. at the Rico Anthes Quartermile track at Hockenheim-ring. Top fuel dragster final race was between Anita and Micke Kagered, both struggling to keep their dragster in a straight line, but Anita took the win. Positioning herself now at the top of the FIA championship.

At the Methanol Dragster class it was Timo Habermann who took the first place after Jndia Erbacher (daughter of multi FIA European champion Urs Erbacher)had some technical challenge with her dragster.
The celebration within the Habermann team for sure was noticeable.
NitrOlympX 2016 was Jndia Erbacher’s debut on the Rico Anthes Quartermile track.
On the Top fuel bike class it was for sure a great day for Rene van der Berg and his team. Not only did he manage to position himself into the finals but he also won from Ian King as Ian had some technical difficulties in the final race. Rene also improve his personal best from 6.27 to 6.12 sec.

A drag event won’t be successful if there weren’t a hard working team behind the screens to give the spectators the time of their life. Here we present the 2016 NitrOlympX pit crew.
