Drachten airfield The Netherlands 12th May 2017: The first Drag races weekend has kick off at the well know airstrip in the north east of the Netherlands. This year DHRA, ESLA/Quartermile have join forces together with 402 automotive as their promotor. United organisation requires also a new event name and new concept. ‘Fast Show 1’ Days of Thunder edition.
The first qualifying day at Drachten airstrip started in the afternoon due to weather conditions. several competitors of different classes took the opportunity to make their first pass to get a better feeling of the track.

Check out this great start from Mike Hollaar in his Chevrolet Malibu which made a good pass of 10.850 seconds with a dial of 10.700 position himself in the first place of the Pro E.T class.
Also Maurice van der Laan made a good pass of 8.960 seconds and position himself on the first place in the Super Pro E.T class.
