And what is an American muscle event without the low riders community? Lowrider, a lifestyle that began post world war two in the Spanish community in America has grown and spread all over the world. Also in the Netherlands, there is a lot of interest in this way of customizing cars.

Going for how low can you go to how fast can you go, American Sunday brought it all. Voorend USA Autoparts brought their drag cars. Besides the big boys, there was time for every American car owner to sign up and compete during the street legal quarter-mile races, powered by Quartermile Organisation who facilitated the races, ‘old skool’ style.

That much power and didn’t know what to do with it? Therefore American Sunday provided also the Burn-out madness. This section where competitors are judged on; The Burn-out duration (At least 3 minutes continuous burning tires without blowing them up),  cars presentation during burn-out and of course the sound the car made during the burn-out. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much interest from the American muscle community, therefore the imports class competing for the burn out championship give the spectators what they came to see, white smoke and the smell of burning tires. Did you already spot the blown tire in the smoke? Well, look again!
