After a few months off D1Curacao is back with its first round for 2014. It was a full house as the whole surroundings of the Drift track were covered with public waiting to see some action go down.
Team FISH was also present. This team is consist of Last year’s highest scoring rookie Ben Fakkel, Brendan, Beau and Sou Eva among others.
Monster Energy Drink was there as usual supporting the event.
After some Qualifying runs it was time for the Tandems
New drivers also hit the track! The main reason of D1Curacao is to encourage young and new drivers to participate and grow in the sport.
Danny Ribeiro…who began drifting even before he had a drivers license. So much talent.
Even #UEONO GABY showed up in his Z28 Camaro
Nano Andrade was on fire, in his Atomic S14
But was bested out by Cesar EL CHE Santis, who let it all hang out.
After a short meeting it was tandem time.
In the end it was Cesar against Nano
It went to a much disputed and discussed “ONE MORE TIME” The crowd surely enjoyed it.
After that..Ali Lechi had to distress…
With a lot of smoking rubber
