The BIGGEST drag event in the US of the year. PERIOD!
We again made the long trip all the way up to Maryland to attend and cover the WCF – Import vs Domest races held at MIR. Even when rolling in to the track you start to see some awesome rides

After checking in at the tower and getting our credentials we head to the track where the 1st round of Qualifying was going on.
The domestics were surely ready to battle the imports and as the weekend went we saw them come out on top in most of the categories.
The imports sure did give a good battle and also many broke personal records and even world records.
We have to again give a shout out to the MIR track team for keeping the track so sticky during all the event. Even when the oil downs became a thing of 1 after every other pass, they still battled to prep the track back, so that the event could continue

They even helped the racers out who got issues after the start. They are just the best.
All in all it was a great first day and the amount of racers was staggering.
