Kortrijk Expo, Kortrijk, Belgium 15-04-2025: Gr8 Magazine celebrates the 10th anniversary of its annual car show, the Gr8 International Car Show. Gr8 International Car Show was held on the weekend of 12/13th April and is not just a car event; it’s where passionate car enthusiasts meet to get amazed by the rarest supercars or the most insane modified vehicles. More than 800 vehicles have been pre-selected this year based on their rarity and uniqueness. The Gr8 team certainly nailed it with the most extensive Liberty Walk car collection in one place. Several thousand visitors walked around 42 square meters of exhibited masterpieces, had the opportunity to buy merchandise and/or memorabilia, or just chatted with friends or car owners enjoying a beverage from the several bars/restaurants at the Kortrijk Expo.

As it became a tradition, GR8’s team converted the Kortrijk Expo into a candy store for young and old, with each hall having its theme. Oldtimers were exhibited in Hall 1, custom/Tuning cars were in Hall 2, Trucks were in Hall 3, Hall 4 was named Mix of Styles, Hall 5 was named Top Tuning, and Dream Cars were in Hall 6. This year, the XXL Hall was renamed the Liberty Walk Hall.

Twenty-four vehicles on the Liberty Walk bodykit were brought to Kortrijk this year to celebrate Gr8’s tenth anniversary. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ask Dries Dumoulin why Liberty Walk dominates this year’s edition. Well, we have a perfect bond with Liberty Walk, Dries replied. In 2017, we built our own Liberty Walk BMW M4, and they flew two cars from Japan for the inauguration, which caught our hearts! Last year, we had around 12 vehicles; this year, we had 24, which, as far as I know, has never been seen around the globe. And these achievements make the Gr8 International Car Show unique!

One of those Liberty jewels was the Liberty Walk Honda NSX, which was built and owned by German Tuner Tufo Garage.

Another stunning build at the car show was Charlie’s Ferrari F430. It is currently the only Ferrari F430 on the Liberty Walk body kit and just got a massive makeover before loading to the Kortrijk Expo. It is in a beautiful Ruby Rosso (pinkish) color. It took Charlie around eight months to finish with the Liberty Walk body kit and around two years to this extent. The car has so many small details and mods that it will take you at least five minutes to discover them all.

Another eye-catcher was the green Liberty Walk Lamborghini Huracan, presented by Top Secret Custom Shop. This car first caught our attention at the Essen Motor Show last December, and it is a stunning build.

Hall 6, Dream Cars, was the place for anyone with a luxury taste or liking fast cars. Some well-known names in the luxury car culture brought some of their collections. Among them are the McLaren Twins, Supercar Society, and Zach’s Garage, to name a few. For sure, the two Pragas got a lot of attention. Praga is a Czechian auto manufacturer that’s been around for a while. It manufactures cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors, and even airplanes. Their latest creation is the Bohema, a track-focused hypercar producing around 700 horsepower and weighing only 982 kg. The one exhibited at Kortrijk has chassis number 002 and is the only one (at the time of writing) on the Dutch license plate.

Hall four was renamed “Mix of Styles” this year. This hall contained cars from several car clubs or communities like REVWORKS and stands from several performance parts brands or from magazines, including the Gr8 magazine stand, where you could get the latest edition of the magazine and see if you could spot the live version of any of the masterpieces presented in the newest edition. One car that got a lot of attention in this hall was the Ferrari F40 LM Barchetta. This car has a fantastic history, has been on the track for many races, and is supposed to be 1 of 19 ever-produced F40 LMs. However, as one of his previous owners modified it (with the help of racecar builder Michelotto), Ferrari no longer recognizes it.

Hall 1 was the place to be for the vintages among us: The Oldtimers section. Gr8 took the spectator through history lane. Several iconic models from the most well-known brands were definitely a treat.

Gr8 celebrated their car show’s 10th anniversary the best way they could by bringing the finest masterpieces to Kortrijk. The most extensive collection of Liberty Walk cars made an impression on the audience. You could have had a Liberty Walk energy drink at G20bag or taken to several Kortrijk restaurants whenever you needed a drink. What’s not to like about drinking cold beverages with Chays GT86 in the background? Next year’s edition will be announced shortly by the Gr8 team, so stay tuned for the actual dates!
