Also this time the Quartermile team decided for the traditional ‘Heads-up ‘ races. From the Drag Race world, we spotted some of the Honda ‘Drag Racers’ like Lisette de Koning (Lola Racing Team) & Leo Honders (sponsored by ALL4Honda), both are very known on ¼ mile drag race track at the Drachten airfield. Also from the Japanese Bike community the interest was high to make some passes along the track, after all it is JAPFEST (Car & Bikes).

Burn-out madness battle continues during JAPFEST, This section is still growing and getting more interest from car lovers and spectators. Lately is more popular among Japanese car lovers than any other. As we seen during the American Sunday (organized on 22nd April), the battle for the king of burn-out is between Japanese cars, no American muscle has lined-up to compete for this title. This time the public got an opportunity to be part of the show. By filling in an inquiry, giving their views/opinion on ‘Burn-Out Madness’, the spectators got the opportunity to win a seat next to ‘Burn-Out’ Driver.

During JAPFEST the 2nd round of the Dutch time attack race was held. Time attack is a championship where a driver is competing against the clock to set the best time lap on the track. The three category held was, Club, Pro and Super Pro.

From all the burning tires and performance races to how low can you go, JAPFEST brought it all. The Car Limbo, another upcoming phenomenon, where the only purpose is to lower your car as low as possible, using all means necessary. Last year record holder, chopped the top off his car, but that was too much for these guys during JAPFEST.  But that didn’t stop them to bring it to the edge, from using as many people that could fit in or around the car as possible, to drive on flat tires. All to win the title.
