Sambil Curacao, Easter weekend 2019
As previously reported Ford Mustang celebrated its 55th anniversary on 16th April 2019. The local Mustang club (Mustang Club Curacao) together with local Ford dealer (Prestige Ford) and Shopping Mall “Sambil” held a toast to honor this occasion.

Since Saturday and throughout yesterday many Ford Mustangs took over the walkways in Sambil.
As you enter Sambil through the front door, you are greeted by this awesome Mustang

We know that this beauty belongs to the owner of Sambil itself. This Mustang does have a timeless design.

Moving on to the right aisle we encounter the following rides. Among them a street legend on our island. We salute the OG #Terrorista

Nearing the new supermarket that was opened a few days ago, we saw another set of Mustangs chilling at the location

We liked the white convertible’s interior. It was soo clean for a car of that age.

Moving across to the other side, we see Don Lorenzo Gomez sitting next to his new dragcar.
A 2010 Ford Mustang with a large Ford engine in it.

This spot was before Cinemark. Besides the drag car of Lorenzo, there were also 2 oldtimers (Wabi called on the island) parked looking like they rolled off the production line last week.

On the left aisle, coming from CineMark, it was Mustangs everywhere.
From any year and any model. And most of these cars you do not see running daily no more.

It is a true privilege to catch them all in one location.
Even White Stallion was on display. This Mustang is capable of running 10 seconds or less in the 1/4 mile.

From the newest model to the oldest one. The Mustang is an Iconic muscle car.
With so many variations and models…everyone has to have a Mustang that they love or loved

We consider this expo by the Mustang Club and local Ford dealer “Prestige Ford” and Sambil Curacao a great success. We of TCOB saw Mustangs we did not know were roaming our streets.
Thanks again to Tamara and her crew for organizing this awesome event.
