Manhattan, New York, USA, 23rd April 2025: Car shows and meetings have existed since the beginning, forming part of the car culture. Automobiles have helped shape our culture, and most car shows have changed shape over time. Some no longer form part of today’s society, but a few still do. One car show still around is the New York International Auto Show, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary. The 125th edition kicked off on Easter weekend at Jacob Javits Convention Center and will end on April 27th, 2025. As part of this milestone anniversary celebration, some of the most iconic cars from each decade of the past century will be in the spotlight. And, of course, the latest models from several brands.

Visitors to the New York International Auto Show can admire the golden era of automobiles, starting from the 1920s and 1930s and continuing through the history lane to European icons like the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. It was only built from 1954 to 1957 (3200 units) and was the first production car with a fuel injection system. Of course, we can not forget the golden era of the American muscle, like the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe. It is one of the most recognizable and collectible American cars ever made. It had a 327 cubic inch V8 engine, producing around 360 horsepower. Or the 1979 Pontiac Firebird transam, a symbol of the 1970s era.

Another iconic car is, of course, the 1999 Acura NSX. Honda introduced the NSX in 1990, and the F-16 fighter jet cockpit inspired the body design. Developed with the legendary Ayrton Senna’s input, this dream car had a 3.2-liter V6 engine with around 290 horsepower. It’s still a piece of art today.

But this NY International Auto Show edition is also about the newly released models. Brands like Acura, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Bentley, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Genesis, Kia, Koenigsegg, and Rimac were among the brands that exhibited their newest models. Spectators will get a closer look at Rimac’s future of electric hypercars with Rimac’s groundbreaking lineup. From the trailblazing Concept One—the world’s first all-electric hypercar—to the revolutionary Nevera, the fastest-accelerating production car in the world.
The Spectators will not only travel through automobile history and get a glimpse of what is coming in the future, but also get a taste of the most prestigious cars from the American Tuning scene, like this beautiful wide-body 2010 Acura TSX by Jada, or this stunning 2021 Toyota Supra Mk4 on Hyperion Wide Body kit.
