Circuit Zandvoort, Zandvoort, The Netherlands, 19th April 2026; As summer approaches, the petrol head has numerous options and locations to choose from. One must-visit location was Circuit Zandvoort for another edition of Supercar Madness! Once again, a combined event at the current local F1 track, where spectators did not have the opportunity to see supercars, but it was also the first race of the season for the V-MAX championship in the categories Supercar Challenge and Mazda MX-5 cup. Therefore, a Sunday packed with thrilling activities, including quarter-mile races, supercar hot laps, and, of course, the supercar display. Not to be forgotten, a paddock featuring all kinds of supercars from Swedish, Italian, British, and American. This year’s first Supercar Madness event was one to remember.

402 Automotive once again joins forces with V-max Events to set a day packed with adrenaline for the petrolhead. spectators had plenty to choose from, like the quarter-mile races. Due to the limited time, the start signal was given by hand rather than by a Christmas tree. Several supercar owners lined up against each other to see if there was the day’s fastest.

Hotlaps have also become one of the 402 traditions at on-track events, where car owners can get a 20-minute session on the track to go as fast as they can. For spectators sitting on the grandstand, it was a unique moment to hear all those super engines roar at higher RPMs and go all out.

Once on the grandstand, the audience could have enjoyed the several races held by V-MAX. In the supercar challenge, it was the 19-year-old Marlon Birdsall (Koopman Racing)who took the win, remarkably, on his debut weekend. He won with a 28-second gap between him and the number two with the best lap time of 1:39.8 at an average speed of 153 km/hrs. For the Mazda MX-5 cup, it was the Belgian racer Noah Maton who took the win with the fastest lap of 1:54.74 and an average speed of 131 km/hrs.

Besides the races, spectators could have looked at their favorite supercar, as there was one brand, model, and year for every taste. From Koenigsegg to Nissan Skylines to Ferraris, just to mention a few. like the Lamborghini Temerario. The successor to the Huracan features a 4.0 Bi-Turbo V8 engine combined with 3 electric motors, producing around 920 horsepower and reaching a top speed above 300 km/h.

The first of three editions of this year’s Supercar Madness series is a fact. The next Supercar Madness will take place at Circuit Zolder in Belgium on June 28, 2026. Be there!
