The Top Fuel number one qualifier Anita Mäkelä is the absolute winner during the Tierp Internationals. She ran 3.919 sec run in a very close (really close) race against Liam Jones who booked a 3.909 sec. Anita was 0.408 seconds quicker at the tree and Liam just saw Anita cross the finish line in front of him, passing to the quarter-finals.  There she ran a stunning 3.956 against Antti Horto who couldn’t get enough traction to finish the race. The final race went between Anita and Mikael Kågered, where both struggled to get enough traction. At the end it is Anita who takes the win with a 4.841 second run due to a broken supercharger belt half way the race (Mikael with a 10.20 sec). This win will push Anita to the number one position in the championship point standings, as 1st round (Santapod, Main Event) winner ‘Stig Neergaard’ didn’t compete here at Tierp.

Andreas Arthursson wins in the Pro Modified class with a 5.882 pass. Arthursson and the number one qualifier Jimmy Ålund where beating the competition by running 5.8 runs. Andreas Arthursson and last year champion ‘Michael Gullqvist’ met in the sem-finals but Arthursson (5.885 sec) was too quick for Gullqvist (6.079 sec). The final race meant to be a 5.8 second race between  Ålund and Arthursson, but unfortunately Ålund suffered from technical issues and could start his car. Not sure where this win will put Andreas in the point standings, but Jimmy Ålund is catching in on Michael Gullqvist (number one in the championship).

Unfortunately suffered tyre shake and lost against Micheal Malmgren in the quarter finals. The Pro stock final went between Malmgren and Stefan Ernryd. Stefan jumped the tree too quickly (Red light) but still ran a 6.652 sec against Malmgren who wins with a 6.630 seconds.
