It is the second round of the French Championship at Clastres and the first round of the German Championship. Clastres Raceway has become a host for the German Championship as there are not enough race tracks open anymore in Germany. The German Championship will consist of three races: two in Clastres and one in Hockenheim during the Nitrolympx weekend.

The qualifications started with Frederic Valette claiming the number-one spot in Super Pro ET. Frederic ran an 8.806-second run which was 0.00656 seconds slower than his 8.80 indexes. Unfortunately, he could not maintain his number one spot and lost this to Stephane Jacquot in the second qualification round. Frederic is now third after six qualification rounds. Thierry Senges is the number two qualifier.
