Autotron Rosmalen, 5th January 2020; Kever Winter Festijn, a car show dedicated to volkwagen. A variety of merchandise for your Volkswagen, good entertainment and the chance to win a 1972 Beetle was the right combination which attracts the public to the south east of the Netherlands.

10 thousand Volkswagen enthusiasts found their way to Autotron Rosmalen during the first weekend of 2020 (Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th January). Taking into account the year-end holidays and The Netherlands’ winter conditions, a decent (10.500 visitors as expected by 402 automotive) number of visitors. it’s already a tradition that Kever Winter fest is the first event on 402 automotive year list.
A well-known event among Volkswagen enthusiast, which has been around for nearly three decades (28 years). First organized under the name Aircooled Winterfest, but 402 automotive changed the name recently to Kever Winter Fest. The current name clarifies the events content and attract car enthusiasts outside the Volkswagen community. Aircooled didn’t lose its soul!

Like a show paddock, displaying all kind of Volkswagens. Most of the visitors have maintain the tradition of arriving in their own air-cooled vehicle making the show paddock, one not to forget!

The Eventron area was reserved for the rarest & exquisite Volkswagens. like these two very rare Volkswagen Rometsch Lawrence Coupé. This coupe in the Rometsch series (which was modified from a Volkswagen beetle) has been designed by furniture designer Bert Lawrence.
Only a handful (between 15-20 coupés) has survived worldwide.

Besides being an exhibition for Volkswagen, Kever Winter Festijn offers Volkswagen fan the opportunity to shop for all the parts they need. From bumpers, engine component to complete engines.

And for the ones in need for some hand on training; Kever Winter Festijn had it all! Hot Rod Doesburg were there to provide several workshops. Hot Rod Doesburg has been customizing & restoring Volkswagens since 1978.
Visit a show and win a car, not often seen during car show, but this year webshop ‘Keverland’ has given the visitors the opportunity to win a 1972 Volkswagen 1302 Beetle. The only thing needed, was to change the Sunday entree ticket into the beetle lottery ticket.

This 1972 Beetle has been imported from Sweden in 2019 and is fully original. No additional parts or repaired has been made to this Beetle since it rolled from the factory and only had two owners ever since. The Lucky owner number three, who had the winning ticket on the last day of Kever Winter Festijn took her home.

Kever Winter Festijn, a new year’s tradition by 402 automotive who went in the books as an successful car show, who had a lot to offers (rare Volkswagen, all kind of beetles and all the parts you needed) and start of this year season.
