Kaya Kaya: Elimination Rounds

After a day of test and tuning, and also a full day of qualifying, we bring you the final event. It’s elimination time. Win or take a seat in the stands. The racers were ready!

A special mention in this category must be made.
Shout out to Ivar Abath. He came out in his KP61 Toyota Starlet.

Although his street driven car is build to be raced on a prepped track, he came out and ran on a “no prep” surface. After many passes “patinando” all the way down the 1320 he managed a best time of 10 seconds with a 8 second car on a “no prep” track.

After running many times against Marlon Tai and Winning, he had a small issue at the light, and got red lighted, giving Marlon the win. He also ran the 12 seconds category. He was only bested in the finals by Gabrielo Martis in his Acura Integra.

A special mention must be made for Rendol Torbed.
He did not come to the test and tune or saturday.
Yet he cleaned out in 2 of the 3 categories. A feat of awesomeness by him.
Not only does he run and win in the US, but also back home, he still shows what he is made of. Congrats again Rendolf!
