Kortrijk Expo, Kortrijk, Belgium, 18th/19th April 2026: Gr8 Magazine once again connects the car community by hosting its annual car show. After a successful 10th-anniversary celebration that turned into a Liberty Walk exhibition, the team from Gr8 continued building on that foundation for this year’s edition by bringing together even more Liberty Walk Masterpieces, attracting even the current CEO of Liberty Walk Japan, Toshiro “Toshi” Nishio. Once again, six halls of the exhibition center were used, covering 42,000 square meters and showcasing the most prestigious vehicles Europe has to offer, including heavily modified cars, old-timers, custom bikes, custom trucks, and exclusive supercars. And this didn’t go unnoticed as several thousand car enthusiasts found their way to Kortrijk Expo for the 11th edition of the Gr8 International Car Show.

As tradition, GR8’s team turned each hall into its own theme. Trucks were exhibited in Hall 1; Fast & Furious and Old Skool tuning were in Hall 2; Young/Old timers customs were in Hall 3; Hall 4 was the main hall with most stands from several brands; Hall 5 was named the Wide Body/Liberty Walk/Rocket Bunny Hall; and the supercars were in Hall 6. Let’s break them down for you.

Gr8 is not just a car magazine; it is a platform that brings the car community together, and its owner and team are car-passionate themselves. Gr8 has had many demo cars in the past, such as the Aztec-themed Lamborghini Huracan, painted by Radical Customz, or the wide-body Liberty Walk BMW M4.

Gr8, owner Dries, has been working behind the scenes on the new face for Gr8 Magazine: a 1989 Porsche 964. Cobblestone Custom in Lommel, Belgium, was responsible for building the 964. Cobblestone specializes in building, modifying, and repairing classic cars, Hot Rods, and Rat Rods. Cobblestone had just over seven weeks to finish the project, and the car was finished a couple of days before the show. The reveal was on Saturday at the Cobblestone Customs stand in Hall 4. The car was fully dismantled and restored to perfection. It has a hand-built, one-off widebody kit from Cobblestone Customs, painted Oslo blue. Dutch rim manufacturer 4645 Forged provided the Porsche with unique wheels with an integrated Gr8 logo. It has V3 KW suspension, and AIC Apex provided the exhaust system.

Another cherry on the icing in Hall 4 was the Liberty Walk Europe stand! Like the previous year, the LBW stand was acting like a magnet. This year, the LBW Europe stand was located in Hall 5. Three newly built cars with the Liberty Walk Body kit were revealed during the weekend. At the LBW stand, the new Nissan Skyline, R34, owned by Imran Abdullah, was revealed. Mr. Toshiro “Toshi” Nishio (CEO of LBW Japan) himself was the guest of honor at the unveiling. The R34 is painted in a beautiful Midnight Purple and has the silhouette body kit, while sitting on Rohana Wheels with an LBW touch. Remarkably, it is the second LBW Silhouette R34 in the world.

Next to the new members of the LBW circle, the visitors had the opportunity to see some well-known LBW masterpieces in Hall 5, such as the Green Silhouette Huracan GT built by Street Customs, which gave the Lambo a new livery that added a more racing touch. Or like the GTR from Belgium GTR stores. But also some new cars and reveals, like a Mazda MX-5 with a Liberty Walk body kit, which was revealed to the public at Gr8 ICS, and a Porsche 911 with a Liberty Walk body kit. Both owners drove their car 6000 km, from Istanbul to Kortrijk, Belgium!

Young/Old-timers’ customs were located in Hall 3, with a year and model for every taste. From American, JDM to VAG, including beach buggies.

The Fast & Furious franchise made a deep imprint on the car scene since its release in 2001. The original cars are still around, mostly in the hands of private collectors. But there are other tributes out there that are neat as well, like the ones from The Fast Collection UK, which were located in Hall 2. The Fast Collection UK just finished building Han’s FD (Mazda RX-7 FD) and unveiled it at the Gr8 International car show. It’s the first time their collection is all together outside the United Kingdom.

Also, modified trucks became part of the tradition at the Gr8 International Car Show, and this year, Hall 1 was the place to be. 70 of the most breathtaking trucks were selected, from Scotland to Greece. These were anything but stock rigs. Among them, the Conor McGregor theme Scania S770 from the Greek Cargo & Freight company, Sarantos. It’s a creation from the Greek Airbrush artist Laitmer Artwork. Another Jaw-dropping big rig was the 2023 Scania 660S Highline, an Indiana Jones-themed rig from the Swedish company Mϋller Ermensee Gmbh. remarkable to say that this rig was designed and painted by Dutch airbrush specialist MW Design, who did an awe-inspiring job. No surprise that these two were the winner and the 1st runner-up of the Truck award from Gr8 ICS. In total, 50 vehicles got awarded by the Gr8 team.

Displayed cars had the opportunity to win either a Gr8 ICS award or one of the awards from the well-known Belgian car club and community, the Petrol Brothers. Their judges selected a top three based on originality and coolness. The selected cars were the Lamborghini Huracan, a 1/1 UK Vorsteiner build that also won an ICS award. The second one was the 1971 Volkswagen from Dave Lawlor, who also won an ICS award. The third one was a stanced 1955 Ford C-800 flatbed truck.

Super cars were in Hall six, where several of the most prestigious and rare supercars were exhibited. Koenigsegg Jesko Absoluut, Porsche GTR3 RS, Koenigsegg CCR (14 ever built), and what got our attention was an RML GTH.

The RML GTH is based on a Porsche 911 Turbo S and is heavily modified by RML. RML stands for Ray Mallock. RML customizes the 911 and brings it to a different level. Only 39 units were ever built, and they have a price tag of over half a million, excluding the price of the 911 itself.
